Ok, my sister Priscilla and I put our dress up ideas together to dress up my 12 year old cousin Jade. Jade is an identical twin to her sister Envie. (I will posting pics of Envie within a few days). Jade is very much into fashion and enjoyed our little game. The make up idea was done my me, the styling of clothes was done by my sister Priscilla. The Hair was done by my sister as well, but the hair style idea was def all me. Our creativity pulled an awesome pic. =) Enjoy!

Life Inspiration

Sometimes we are always looking for inspiration, when in fact what we are looking for is right in front of us. Ever think about the family and friend's influences? Past experiences, traditions, and of course the L word? Yup, LOVE! What would we do with or without it. Some how we may always have all the blessings in world and it may still seem as if something is missing. --As for me I just have to find for what I want right now, education wise.

I am constantly surrounded by beautiful and warm high spirited people. I have been blessed to have the family and friends that are in my life. In reality I have all that money can not buy. Love, Happiness, Health, and God. 

My family, my friends, my current lover, my interests, and past experiences are what let me to write this. Instead of searching for more, why don't we look at what is in front of us first and appreciate it. If you have found your self as a person then what more can a girl really ask for besides shoes, designer clothes, and a brilliantly decorative home? On that note I hope everyone enjoy's their holidays.

As you guys may already know, I am obsessed with the Bridal Industry. This past week while driving around Park Slope, Brooklyn I bumped into this beautiful Bridal shop called Sposabella Couture. Their window display really caught my eye as a beautiful gown stood before my eyes. Driving by so fast I am surprised I even got the name of the place.

Fashionable Christmas

Wouldn't you want to have a fab Christmas tree? My ideas and plans for next year's Christmas decor are in effect. With my blush colored walls a light silver medium sized tree will really do the trick. Let's see how this goes.. Used this pic I found on FB as inspiration. What's your Christmas look?

Vera Wang's Fall 2012 Bridal Collection and the Question of "Traditional"

      Who says one has to do what society tells them? Who says a bride has to wear white? According to Kelsey McIntyre in her articles History of the White Wedding Dress, brides did not always wear white. Back before the mid 1800s brides wore wedding gowns of many color schemes. Wearing white became a popular style of choice after Queen Victoria married in white. Altho, brides continued to marry in many different colored gowns white became the symbol of purity and innocence. Now a days in present time with a changing society of many opinions and beliefs, what is the real meaning of being "traditional" ? Traditional is based on culture and values, in which everyone has different.
Vera Wang as always, took it to the next step with her Fall2012 Bridal collection. the question of "traditional" is greatly exposed through her line. Being present day, non traditional is the whole point.

Economy Evolving Fashion.

         According to WWD in an article posted on September 23rd by Evan Clark called "Fashion, Faster than Light" has mentioned a great deal of information about how fashion is evolving due to the economic downfall.
This is a time period where technology is evolving greatly, and social networks are used to keep up with the public. Who has the money to shop for a high end designer products? Only the filthy rich. The average Joe will go for bargains. At a time like this the consumer will purchase what it needs first and will ocasionally splerge on the sale racks. Fashion Trend prediction has failed. Designers have to go with what is relevant for the economy today. The consumer has bend the rule of fashion trends, where as designers have to keep up with the constant changes. About a decade ago it was probably the other way around. Time has changed, and so has the money in our pockets.

How many girls can say they've tried on a Vera Wang wedding gown before!? Interning at The Bridal Garden this summer I was given the opportunity to explore the wedding gowns the small boutique had to offer.

It's is a strapless mermaid gown, made of charmeuse and organza at the mermaid puff. This picture was taken on the last day of my internship, September 3rd 2010.

Sex and the City Part III

Is Sex and the City coming out with a Part III?! I think YES! Yayyy!!

According to the daily news Sarah Jessica Parker who plays Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, claims that a part 3 story is coming out and it's a story that should be told. So much is running through my head! What is this one going to be about? What are the influences? What designers clothes are they going to show of? Most importantly what breathe taking shoes will be shown? Shoes are my personal weakness, and the curiosity of different aspects of life such as love, relationhips, and career are what inspires me to enjoy all the love life has to offer. Love through friends, partners, families and your true passion.

I look foward to see what Part 3 has in store for us. = )

Styling My Home.

For a few months now I've been planning on redecorating my home. Mainly my bedroom and living room space. Since it's a basement in which is being reconstructed I have options in choosing a different floor plan as well as decor. I will be making my decision based on what would best suit me and my two year old golden retriever. Should I combine both my bedroom and living room or keep these spaces seperate? Well this is the question that has been haunting me for weeks. I am looking for comfortability, fun, stylish, creative and of course a welcoming type of environment. Well as for decor, I am thinking about going with a delicate vintage look. Colors are mostly natural and blush. I'm thinking a light mocha wall paper with dark chocolate floral prints and blush colored walls. Think of light pinks and pearls, silk ivory gloves, and a mixture of organza and soft delicate lace everywhere. This is the mood I wish to set. Candle light, and heavy satin colored drapery covering my windows. Im in HEAVEN! A delicate touch to my soul and creativity. Will I be able to set this type of mood with my crazy sort of untrained golden?? Yikes..What to do? . Once I figure out the floor plan for my small basement I will indeed be ready to take action! Training my dog and learning how to share my image with her comfotability would definatly be the trick.

Feelings v.s Facts

The list has been set. What decision can one make when there's more wrongs than right. What you want to do isn't always what's best. Two types of decision making strategies to go by. One is based on feelings and emotions, while the other is based on pure facts. Feelings v.s Facts. There's only so much feelings you can put into something before realizing what the pure facts actuall stand for. Solving a problem and making a decision in a business setting pure facts and humane decisions are put out. In your own personal world feelings and emotions are set to make a decision, sometimes not always being the best. This time I put pure facts on the table to help me decided on what decision should be made without getting emotions involved. Hard isn't it? The heart is big. No stones in here. Ultimate goal in life is to make a difference and help people and animals all over the world. Can I be jesus and cure it all? This decision may be a hard one. When more than one person is involved, so are feelings and emotions. How can this be made any easier. It's time to think about me and the life I want to persue. Whether there is help or not a decsion has to be made. This time I'm using the pure facts. Wish me luck!

Explaining with out words.

It's been a long time since I've last written. I will try and keep up with this due to my busy schedule. For this post I'm going a little personal. How can I express exactly what I want if the person next to you doesn't seem to comprehend. They are blinded to see what you envision. Adventure is what I desire. A night filled with fun and spontaneous actions would be my type of thing. How can that be possible? Does it just happen, or do you have to want it bad enough for it to come? How can you explain to someone what a spontaneous action would be if you yourself don't even know..how can they be led to the right path as to what you want, if it can not be expressed in proper words? It's true what they say, you have to fight for what you want. But haven't I fought hard enough? The simplest thing can effect you deeply. The simplest thing are just complicated. How can I explain with out words?..

New Start.

     Starting it all up again. This is a new page, a new topic, of a new beginning. A lot has changed since the last I've spoken to you. Life changing experiences with surrow and joy. How do I explain it all in just a short paragraph? First I would like to start by saying that FAMILY should always be number 1. The support and guidance you get from them is unexplainable. Close FRIENDS who are trust worthy, reliable, and always there no matter the distance are the ones to keep near you. Those family and friends who are close know exactly what's being said. They know the emotional battle that's taking place. The perfect oppertunity that came and will soon be gone. This is where the surrow and joy takes place.

     I would rather beat up the keyboard than to hurt the heart...but when is it enough? When will the day come that I know those who I love will be safe and healthy? When will I know if their happiness has arrived. When will I get to thank those who have supported me all along and those who just stepped in that are willing to help? All questions unanswered. All I can do is hope and pray that things will line up right. So this is a start of a new beginning of new experiences, thoughts, and line of interest. -Thanking titi Jeanette for all the support.
