Shoe Purchased

Tomorrow is my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend. I have decided to take maters into my own hands and treat myself to something good!

About a week ago, I was browsing online through different shoe sites. I've been familiar with JustFab for quite some time now. For those who are not as familiar, it is a site very much like Shoedazzle. A site where you can choose your favorites looks and styles and a show room of shoes and accessories are picked out for you to browse.

Through out my shoe search, I decided to browse through JustFab to see if anything looked intriguing. I then, found these amazing shoes in which I had wanted to buy for a while now. I was so in love but of course, I had to wait until my next check to actually order them. Thankfully these shoes were not sold out a week later because I purchased them as soon as my pay check came in.

I am super excited and I can not wait to wear them! Sometimes a girl has to do what she has to do. I took matters into my own hands and purchased them myself.
Thank God for the affordable prices JustFab has to offer. Stylish shoes for an affordable price - you can not beat. -Stay tuned as to how I put this look together in the future. In the meantime, enjoy the photo of my beautiful strappy shoe.

Chanel RTW Fall 2013

                                                       Chanel

After seeing all of the 60 looks for this year's Chanel Fall RTW collection, I have chosen a few pieces in which I like most. Pieces that many of us can wear on a day to day basis. Take a look.

This first piece, I chose because of the layering concept. Layer is a new trend this year - sometimes often seen with layers that incorporate fur.  In this case, it looks like a smaller jacket on top of a long coat. Either way, it is a new trend that seems to work on the runway as well as in the streets of NYC.

This next piece, is such a comfy look that I just fell in love. It is a good look for the fall with casual jeans and little brown booties. The part that intrigued me most, was that it appears to be bigger than actual size ( a baggy kind of look) but the middle string tie lets the bagginess sit just on top of the jacket.  It is comfy and a bit boho and this is totally my kind of look for a day to day period.

Here goes another layered concept piece, with a quarter sleeve dress and a short sleeve vest jacket on top. Not only do I like the layering but also the colors and textures used. This can be worn in a more casual way by adding a pair of black knee high flat boots. Overall this look definitely works for me.

New Hobby

As some of you may know, I suffer from (hopefully) minor anxiety. I have decided to do some research instead of seeking help-I know sounds crazy. I found this amazing website that gives you the dos and don'ts about coping with anxiety. Of course, there's the healthy diets, exercises, yoga's, and teas that help control the anxious feeling. There is one thing I have decided to do that may help with the coping.

A few weeks ago my manager saw this knitting add on Groupon. It was something I had always wanted to try since high school and the opportunity came knocking. I decided to join. I thought it may be the first step to controlling some-what of the anxiety I currently have. The knitting place is called "Patricia's Yarns" and it was the most cutest shop I've been to. The first class began yesterday in Hoboken, New Jersey-where "Patricia's Yarn" is located. I have never been to Hoboken nor ever taken the path before. The whole experience was very new to me. I feel thrilled to try something knew and out of environment. I am hopping to become a pretty good knitter and hope that it releases some of the anxiousness. Maybe, instead of drinking chamomile tea at night before bed, I can do some knitting? We shall see if this helps. ~Stay tuned for my progress.

Accessory Board.

The "Accessories Board" is a section in my blog where I can write and show off photos of recently purchased, gifted, and likings of any accessory. Please stay tuned for more in the last weeks.

In the past few weeks I've been making some changes as far as choosing the appropriate accessories that would best fit the style and look in which I am going for. Here are a few photos of what I have recently purchased and what had been given to me-as a birthday present.
All jewelry were inexpensive. Mostly purchased at Forever 21. Of course, the one piece that was gifted to me, I have absolutely no clue where it was might of came from. What I do know is, it was very much appreciated because it came from the heart of my best friend. Hope you guys enjoy the photos.

Shop. New Shoes

Today was lay day for me and and of course I just had to get some shopping therapy done. With my birthday just a few days away these shoes were the icing to my outfits.

Both shoes were bought at TJ-Max. The first pair are Steve Madden for the price of $50. The second, black and white BCBGeneration were $40. I was so lucky because these were the only pair of shoes in my size! When the odds are less great , take advantage and buy! It was so meant to be! Stay tuned for the outfits!

London Fashion Week-Tom Ford Fall 2013

                    Tom Ford Fall 2013 Collection

Black and white and structure with mixed fabric and prints were everything in this collection.

I am head over heals in love! This jacket sets a statement. The bomber abstract print jacket would spice up a simple plain outfit for sure!

This is definitely my favorite out fit in this collection. Each piece is a statement piece by itself. Lets start with the shoes! I am in love. The tall boot look, print pee-toed shoes were super sexy. This is a good way to go about your winter dressing-when you do not want to show much skin yet the pedicure that you either did yourself or took the time and money to get done professionally, just had to be shown off.
The skirt, itself is yet another statement piece. With a simple plain colored blouse (possibly with a feminine collar) and pumps-your new outfit is set.
The top almost wrap around sweater blouse is fabulous one. With light ripped up jeans and booties-the outfit is again complete.

More of the black and white love. How can you pass this one up? I call it the lazy and the chic. ~ My favorite combination.

London Fashion Week-Gary Graham Fall 2013

                       Gary Graham Fall 2013 Collection

I absolutely love how comfort and edge was combined here. Much of a chic bohemian look. Take a look. How would you re-create this!?
