It's Alaehya's World
Alaehya has had her share of outfits during her three months of age. Check out the photos below. Many of these were gifts from family and friends!
Her Easter outfits. The pink dress was given by a dear cousin. Her pink and white baby one piece was a little something I bought the month before. It is an Isaac Mizrahi piece and I paired it with a cute little aqua how from Carter's.
Home outfits.
The first two were recent home outfits. The second to last was the outfit she wore for another's Day. The last photo shoes her in a Ralph Lauren outfit with Jordan's on her feet. We were going to her doctor's appointment this past Wednesday- a few days from becoming 4 months!

It's Alaehya's World
Randy and I decided to baptize our baby girl just yesterday. As many of you know, Alaehya is both Guyanese and Puertorican. We want to her embrace both cultures as they are apart of her forever. Yesterday, she became part of the body of Christ as she was baptized-in style of course. I don't mean to bring religion into this blog but this is part of my culture and beliefs in which I have chosen to pass along. Randy will also pass along his.
On another note. Her God mother bought her Gucci baby ballerina flats, her first rosary and her entire wear for this ceremony. I created (what I think to be) a beautiful cake table. Please check out the photos below. It's so fun being a mommy to this beautiful baby girl.

Happy 3 months to Baby Alaehya Nuelle
Alaehya, rocking her Isac Mizrachi outfit with her cute little neon pink bow from OshKosh. She made 3 months yesterday and I am completely in love with this little person.

Little Touch
A little while ago, long after my beautiful frames were bought, I decided this little area needed a touch of white flowers. I felt as though it would give it that finishing touch. Looking at the photo above I see everything flowing together so lovely. This past week I purchased white big false flowers and cut the stem so that it can fit in the blue base properly. Here goes the look! I hope everyone enjoys and gains ideas from this.

Best Baby Outfits
Here goes Alaehya's best baby outfits. Her spring look brings lots of patterns with a pop of pink. We are using dark colors for now since the weather doesn't seem to make up it's mind here in NY.
The middle photo, is a peach and ivory outfit with bows on her footies and a handmade ivory bow I purchased at etsy. The photo to the left, she is wearing the cutest little sweater jacket from the Gap that her cousins Jade and Envie bought for her. Her cute color flowery pattern shoes were a gift from a dear friend.
The photo to the right, she is wearing a leopard sweater with black tights and hot pink socks to match her cute little black and pink hat. This outfit was given to me by one of my amazing co-workers. Aren't these the cutest looks!
Baby Room
I have created separate areas in my baby's nursery. We have her closet area, her reading/learning center and her sleeping areawhere.
In her closet, I ofcourse, keep her going out outfits, sweaters, coats, shoes, blankets, receiving blankets, bib blankets, pampers, diapers and other things she won't need until she's a little older. My mom gave me the idea of a decorative skirt for her closet versus having drapery. I think this give the closet the look I was going for. It also exposes the closet in a decorative way.
I am huge on early development and learning and so I have created a learning and reading area for her. As she grows I will accommodate the area to her likings and make it as efficient as possible. In the shelves I have displayed books that both of her grandmothers have bought for her. Most books my mom gave her were mine and my sisters when we were kids. She has the Disney collection along with the Dr. Seuss collection. Her Disney collection has to be updated with the new princess that have emerged through out the years.
To add some decor to the shelves, I have added stuffed animals and photos of the baby. Below the shelves - the floor shelving, are filled with teething toys, rattles and early development toys for her. The cute blow up penguins was taken from my cousin's baby's first birthday party. This also happens to be her very first birthday party that she attended. Yes, I was super excited!
The sleeping area is her crib - obviously. I have selected a set in which I felt would go best with the theme I was looking for. I wanted the vintage girly look and this was exactly it. The netting canopy functions as a mosquito net and yet looks very decorative. Thanks to my family and friends I was able to purchase the products I needed and received many gifts in which she uses. Please enjoy the photos!

Home Decor
Absolutely love my living space. The photos below shows my living room and work space. This is an open concept with touches of teal, yellow, gold, silver, and black and white. Spent my maternity leave finishing up the decor of this space. There are a few pieces of art work I would like to add but overall I'm extremly happy and satisfied with how it all came together.
Items...
Pillows are from Target, Marshall's and a neighborhood store.
Rugs are from Amazing Savings and Target
Picture frames and blue vases are from Marshall's
Chalk board above my desk is also from Marshall's
Teal bench is from Target
I definately did not over spend on these items. Most things were found cheaply and on sale. Hope you enjoy the photos!
